The Story:
Stand Alone, or as some prefer to call it "SA," is a story based off of the everyday life of wild horses. Stand Alone is a breath taking adventure that lies in the heart of three young horses: Pain, the down and depressed white filly with a need for protection, G-Money, the trustworthy bay gelding with a heart of a champion, and Chandler, the flirtatious arrogant stud who dreams of being with Pain forever. These three horses don't know what kind of trouble they're getting themselves into. Day by day things are always changing for them and everyone around them.
In the story, there are many different herds that have all been pitted against each other for some reason or the next. Life get's very tough for them due to all of the fighting, wars, and deaths that take's place there in Los Lobos. The main plot revolves around Pain. When she was born life started out great for her and her family, but shortly after her father, also known as "Death," suddenly snapped mentally and tried to kill both Pain and her mother. He was successful in doing away with her mother. But when Pain was forced either to leap from a cliff locking her forever sealed fate, or being killed by Death, her own father, she decided what she had to do and chose to leap. Knowing well that she couldn't swim, Death thought his plot had surely worked and he had killed them both. Pain came crashing down into the river below her. Drowning, she slowly started as her lungs filled with the cold water. Suddenly a young yearling came in the water and rescued her. Thus, it was G-Money! He saved her in her time of need.
As the years have went on, Pain is now a beautiful four year old filly, and G-Money is a six year old gelding, they have become so closely bonded throughout their time together. G-Money plans to one day kill Death and take back Pain's honor. Whether or not he can accomplish that dream or not, you'll just have to read and find out for yourself!
Stand Alone is a story not like any you've ever read. SA is very uniquely written, and is perfect for any horse lover, role-play enjoyer, or just if you love reading. It will take you on a journey that you could only dream of. Just when you think they're safe, that's when you're wrong. Things are not always what they seem..
If you also think Stand Alone is all about horses, you are greatly mistaken. SA also provides the human world as one of their many journey's they embark on, not to mention, if you like wolves, then you'll love this. Pain, G-Money and Chandler have been gifted with a special form that is known as a "Shifter," from time to time they have the ability to take on a different form species, such as: Wolves, horses, and even humans. Though they keep their abilities private from others, it never stops them from unleashing their inner selves.
